So begins the 6 days of creation. Each day unfolds as a single breath in time, gathered within angled walls. Evening meets morning. Oceans meet mountains. Creatures big and small roamed the sky, land and water. Adam and Eve, dark against the tree, stand at the threshold of humans’ pivotal history. The intimate space invites viewers inside to go back in time to experience the beginning of it all.

Family is the cornerstone of my artistic vision. This piece began with a salvaged wedding wine crate, its nostalgic wood grain inspiring a family treehouse. I contrast this upcycled material, rich with personal history, against a new canvas to symbolize a new journey with our children. The upcycled material inspired a home rooted in the past but growing towards the future. It’s a story of love, family, and the beauty of giving old materials a new beginning.
