Description: In my artwork, ‘Withered,’ I aim to capture the haunting beauty and ethereal atmo- sphere of the Mardi Himal trek at high altitudes. Inspired by my personal experi- ence of venturing into the rugged landscapes of Nepal, this piece is a visual repre- sentation of the raw and mysterious allure that can be found in the withered land- scapes of the Mardi Himal region.
The canvas is dominated by a desolate landscape, where muted tones of blue, green and gold depict the barrenness and ruggedness of the high-altitude terrain. The withered vegetation, represented by delicate brushstrokes and subtle textures, serves as a testament to the harsh conditions and extreme climate that characteriz- es this region. The gnarled trees and shrubs, standing stoically against the elements, evoke a sense of resilience and survival.
