Lei, also know as Paperlileis, is an illustrator and designer based in Singapore. She received a BFA from School of Art, Design and Media in Nanyang Technological University, majoring in Visual Communication and minoring in English Literature. Over the years, she has developed a drawing methodology that combines the versatility of digital software with the expressive quality of analogue media to create her signature style of effusive illustrations.

Lei predominantly paints real places, and her illustrations capture the warmth and beauty of everyday life. Through her art, she aims to inspire others to bask in the comfort of the mundane and seek solace in human connections.
