As an artist, I’m interested in art as a threshold—where forms, feelings, and questions meet. My practice blends painting with mixed media, often folding in unconventional materials and processes to push against familiar boundaries. I’m drawn to the moments when certainty thins: the pause before a decision, the afterglow of a risk, the quiet reckoning that follows a bold impulse.
Formally, I work with layered textures, fractured compositions, and charged color to hold tension—between impulse and intention, spectacle and silence, control and surrender. I want the surface to feel alive, unstable, and open, inviting viewers to inhabit their own hinge of possibility rather than receive a fixed conclusion.
Across projects, I aim to challenge how images are built and how they’re felt. The goal isn’t novelty for its own sake, but to create work that presses at the edges of habit—mixing mediums, bending rules, and letting the unexpected enter—so that urgent ideas, strong emotions, and the questions we live with can take shape in new ways.
