Ricki Huang

Ricki is a professional designer from landscape architecture background. She uses her spear time to create watercolor drawings to record the local community in the cities she lives. She has coaching and selling her artworks from Sydney to Hong Kong since 2017. She enjoys the communication with her clients, viewers from weekend markets, or from the local art shops.

Ricki loves these traditional Hongkong building’s façade – demonstrating vivid living scenes and lovely dynamic streetscape in Hong Kong style. Her inspirations always come from those colorful but old small tenement buildings (or called Tong lau). She believes the buildings are not only witnessing the great changed of Hong Kong, but also are changing and adapting with time. Her skills in watercolor drawing, ink sketching, and architectural vision enable her to easily convey unique beauty of Hong Kong streetscape.
