Born in Taiwan, educated in Paris, Joëlle has multiple culture background and traveled around the world that enriched her inspiration of artworks. She is capable to paint various types of artwork ranging from landscapes, human bodies, portrait, living objects and animals. She likes visualizing her memory of travel and describing the details by painting. Each one of her paintings represents a story.

“Balcony” was inspired by her stay in Paris. Several years later, she decided to realise it by oil painting. The painting depicted, from the view of balcony, the street where she lived and Paris’s colour in the spring. Besides the straight lines of buildings, perspective is the significant part in this painting which extended the space of our vision.
